Practice of Yoga

Yoga is a psychological, physiological, and spiritual discipline that was born out of the Hindu culture many centuries ago. Centering the mind and spirit, while grounding and balancing the body, are central keys in yoga practice. Yoga students are taught to spread the toes, thus grounding the feet, while doing the standing asanas (yoga positions that promote focus, flexibility and strength).

Our Yoga Sandals help train the foot to spread the toes through gentle movement and walking throughout the day. This gentle spacing of the toes aligns the feet with the ankle, the knee, the hip and posture. The toe separation opens up the 26 bones of the feet and helps those bones become mobile, as they were meant to be.

The Yoga Sandals increase balance, body alignment, and a sense of grounding while you gracefully and easily move through your everyday life. Some companies sell devices that require you to sit while training your toes to spread.

Why sit when you can freely exercise and increase flexibility in your entire foot during daily activities?

You can improve your yoga practice, improve your sense of grounding, improve balance, improve body alignment and increase your foot’s strength and mobility simply by wearing these unique sandals.
